Euroviti is one of the very few European companies able to guarantee a full support in the development of new projects in the production of plasticizing unit, for both injection and extrusion, that must be dedicated to the process of any specific polymer or compound. We give to the end-users the opportunity to request screw’s design based on the type of material that must be processed, thus obtaining various advantages, such as the increase in production, better performances, efficiency and product quality.
During one of the last projects, we have customized a densifier extruder for PE/PP film starting from the original ø90 L/D 12 and transforming it into a PLA extruder with degassing ø70 L/D 37. From the regrinded flakes we created an unit able to produce biopolymer raw material in granules, using a renewable resource which will be used in the creation products for daily use with reduced environmental impact, completely biodegradable and compostable.

The reduction in the diameter made to the screw, the reintegration into the production cycle of wasted polymer recovered from production residues, have allowed the re-use of PLA into the production cycle, significantly lowering the environmental impact and the economical production cost. Furthermore, thanks to the mastering geometry of the screw and the complete extraction of moisture from the process, thanks to a special degassing system, we have obtained a qualitative improvement of the granule with consequent optimization of the finished product
