RASCHIG is a medium size enterprise founded in 1891 by Dr Friedrich Raschig in Germany. Based on the long tradition, experience and expertise in the fields of specialty chemicals, thermosetting moulding compounds, mass transfer technology. RASCHIG is well-known for providing customers with tailor-made high-quality products. Throughout the long company history, RASCHIG’s products have been continuously developed further and, thus, their thermosetting moulding compounds remain a top choice internationally when it comes to first-class materials. To stay ahead of the competition, and to further development and design their materials and products according to their customers evolving needs RASCHIG works in close cooperation with its customers. This corporate culture and market approach are still pursued today, resulting in a highly differentiated, competitive and state-of-the-art product portfolio.

This presentation provides a concise overview of the key properties and processing methods of EP materials. EPOXIDUR materials enable the gentle, reliable and sealed overmoulding of electrical and electronic components using modern processing technologies. Particular emphasis will be placed on meeting increasingly demanding requirements for technical performance, sustainability and cost efficiency. Practical application examples and a detailed case study will demonstrate how these requirements can be successfully balanced, even under economic constraints. In addition, we will show how processing equipment optimised in close cooperation with our partners can further enhance technical performance, resource efficiency and overall cost-effectiveness.
