The Russian company has chosen flexible silos from A.B.S. because they require a relatively small storage area with a high capacity and are easy to transport and install. Other important reasons for the processor to decide in favour of A.B.S. were the fact that they can store different plastic materials with flexible silos regardless of the weather conditions and that the integrated electronic weighing equipment enables them to check the current stock level at any time.

The Flex silos are made of high-strength, high-tech polyester fabric, tailor-made and - depending on the application - either in a breathable, uncoated version that reliably prevents condensation, or in different coating variants. On request, the silos can also be equipped to be electrically dissipative or have an approval for the food sector. The system engineering enables the silos to be integrated into existing production lines, so that the bulk materials are available for the production plants just in time, as at Mir Upakovki.
