Sustainability from the idea to series production
BARLOG Plastics is underlining its commitment to environmentally conscious solutions in the plastics industry and will be presenting new products and services for sustainable plastics engineering with KEBALLOY ECO recycling compounds and BARLOG ECO Consulting at Fakuma 2023 in Hall A3, Stand 3209.
The new ECO Consulting service from BARLOG Plastics offers customers holistic and, above all, sustainable component development. Each process step is considered under the aspect of CO2 footprint reduction and resource efficiency is increased.
BARLOG Plastics also confirms its commitment to sustainability by supplying large-scale production with recyclate-based compounds that have been specially developed for demanding applications and meet the highest quality standards. This sustainable material series KEBALLOY ECO includes glass and carbon fibre reinforced compounds, which are produced on the basis of PET bottle recycling and enable high-performance components with a lower ecological footprint. BARLOG Plastics also uses chemically recycled PA6 from fishing nets to develop customised special compounds with special properties such as thermal conductivity and electromagnetic shielding. The company also has a sustainable solution for painted and chrome-plated components used in the interiors of electric vehicles, for example: PC/ABS compounds with recycled PC.
