Colorful cooperation in injection moulding
At the FAKUMA booth of HNP Mikrosysteme, Dr. Boy, INEOS Styrolution, Rowasol and Repi will be there.
HNP Mikrosysteme GmbH, Schwerin, is bringing five companies together on its booth at FAKUMA in Friedrichshafen. Olaf Lang, application specialist in sales at HNPM, describes the cooperation as follows: “At our stand, we are showing exactly what the customer needs: a great machine, the right granulate, suitable liquid colors and a matching dosing system. That's why we're looking forward to working together and talking to visitors.”
At booth 1205 in hall A1, a BOY 25 E injection molding machine from Dr. Boy GmbH & Co. KG will be producing live. Transparent styrene plastic from INEOS Styrolution will be colored and processed into delicatessen trays. The liquid colors used are supplied by Rowasol GmbH and Repi GmbH. The colorDoS dosing system from HNP Mikrosysteme is responsible for the precise dosing of the liquid color directly into the granulate flow.
Delicate trays are produced in the colors blue, red, green and yellow. The shot weight is 25 g and the color addition is 0.5 %. The clean and fast color change will be experienced live several times a day.
In addition to injection molding, the colorDoS dosing system has also been used in extrusion for several months now. Due to the significantly higher material throughput, some adjustments have been made. The diameter of the adapter tube has been increased, the container holder has been reinforced to hold color containers weighing up to 30 kg and the control system has been adapted to the continuous process.
