Size 62 with new performance features for Fakuma 2024
What fundamentally distinguishes the new size 62 Thermo 6 models from their predecessors are their outstanding performance features. The new size has been designed to gradually replace the highly successful Thermo 5 units of size 2 and size 3 in the near future thanks to their extended performance and temperature range.
The expansion includes the new radial pumps with the internal configuration designation 6P and 6R. These differ in the temperature range with the aim of always achieving the best possible efficiency for each unit type. For example, the ‘Direct-Drive’ pump 6P for applications up to 100 °C can achieve even higher energy efficiency of the temperature control units by avoiding eddy current losses. They impress with flow rates that would only have been possible with the Thermo 5 if size 3 had been used. The pump technology, optimised in close partnership with Speck, impresses with its size/performance ratio. Despite its compact dimensions, it delivers three times as much as a conventional pump of its size.
