At Fakuma 2026, Bjørn Thorsen will bring two complementary areas of expertise, offering visitors access to a comprehensive portfolio of materials and solutions for diverse application and project requirements.

Thermoplastic Elastomers (TPEs)

Bjørn Thorsen offers one of Europe's largest portfolios of Thermoplastic Elastomers (TPEs), covering a full spectrum of materials, including TPO, TPE, TPV, TPU, TPC, TPS, EVA and SBC. The portfolio features renowned brands from industry-leading manufacturers, such as:

- Estane® TPU from Lubrizol
- Santoprene® TPV, Hytrel® TPC and Laprene® TPS from Celanese
- Medical polymers, including Santoprene® TPV MED, Hytrel® TPC MED and Ateva® G EVA

Customized TPE Compounds

When standard TPE grades do not fully meet specific application requirements, customized compounds can provide a tailored solution. Through Bjørn Thorsen's own brand, Customized Compound Solutions (CCS), TPE compounds are developed and supplied according to individual technical and application needs. The brand's proprietary product range includes:

- Opti-Pren™ TPV
- Opti-Flex™ TPO
- Opti-Soft™ TPE

Beyond material development, CCS can support projects with the capabilities of its Plastics Applications Lab and R&D expertise, including scrap reuse programs, recycled content integration, processability enhancements, mechanical property optimization, colouring and aesthetics, and additivation.

Advanced Polymer Solutions (APS)

Complementing the TPE portfolio, Bjørn Thorsen’s Advanced Polymer Solutions (APS) offering provides a broad range of specialty raw materials, including High-Performance and Engineering Polymers, Medical Polymers, Adhesive Solutions, Additives and Modifiers. Adhesive solutions include Pearlbond™ and Pearlstick™ TPU from Lubrizol for hot-melt and solvent-based applications.
