Colour. Function. Progress! For AF-COLOR, this triad is more than just a recurring trade fair slogan. It embodies the commitment to continuously developing the product range and creating solutions to meet the needs of the plastics industry, both today and tomorrow.
As a specialist in masterbatches within the Feddersen Group, AF-COLOR combines technical expertise with application-oriented development. The focus is on tailor-made colour, black and additive solutions for technically demanding plastics such as PA, PBT, PK and TPU – tailored to the material, processing and application. In particular, functional masterbatches from the additive portfolio are becoming increasingly important.
In order to continue to respond flexibly and efficiently to individual customer requirements in the future, AF-COLOR has recently invested in expanding its production capacity. In doing so, the company is strengthening its existing masterbatch business whilst also laying the foundations for the further expansion of its additives and colour production.
At the same time, AF-COLOR is systematically expanding its portfolio to focus on functional and circular solutions. Under the product ranges AF-CirColor®, AF-CirCarbon® and AF-CirComplex®, the company offers masterbatches for applications within the circular economy. These include, amongst others, carbon-black-free colour and black masterbatches for improved sortability in the recycling process, black masterbatches containing recycled carbon black types, and functional additive combinations designed to specifically influence material and processing properties – for example, a formaldehyde scavenger for POM recyclates or an effective odour absorber for polyolefin recyclates.
AF-COLOR therefore sees itself as a partner that not only meets today’s requirements, but also, as a holistic solutions provider, works with its customers to develop strategies to tackle the challenges of tomorrow.
