Automation for plastic injection molding: from compact robot cells to customized automation systems
Picking parts, handling them precisely, assembling, inspecting and packaging: since 2003, robomotion has been developing robot-based automation solutions for the plastics industry.
Depending on the application, we design compact robot cells or customized complete systems. We integrate injection molding machines with feeding systems, assembly and inspection stations, machine vision and packaging processes. Existing machines can also be integrated into end-to-end processes – for consistent quality, high system availability and low operator intervention.
At FAKUMA, we are showcasing the flexobot – our compact, modular robot cell for applications around the injection molding machine. The standardized platform is configured for the individual process with application-specific grippers and suitable modules for handling, inspection, sorting or packaging.
The flexobot can be integrated in a space-saving setup and reconfigured for new products or tasks as requirements change. At our booth, we provide insights into the flexobot’s range of applications as well as our other automation solutions for plastic injection molding.
