Head of Department Thermoforming (m/f/d)
We are SE-K, an owner-managed family business in Langenargen on Lake Constance. Based on over 100 years of experience in plastics processing, we produce high-quality interior and exterior components in small to medium quantities for the automotive, commercial vehicles, buses, motorhomes as well as construction and agricultural machinery sectors.
For our growing company, we are looking for the following as soon as possible:
Head of Department Thermoforming (m/f/d)
full-time with permanent positionin 88085 Langenargen
Your tasks:
• Technical and personnel management, motivation and promotion of the department (approx. 15 employees/2 shifts).
• Ensuring and optimising production on time, quality and on budget
• Planning of new products, processes and the necessary tools
• Active participation in the quality planning of new products, e.g. FMEA and test plan
• Definition, documentation and monitoring of process parameters up to customer approval
• Continuous optimization of process flows
• Responsibility for machines, tools and peripherals incl. maintenance
• Training of our junior process mechanics
Your profile:
• Technical and industrial training, ideal process mechanic, master craftsman or technician, possibly studies in the field of plastics, production or manufacturing technology, AEVO trainer certificate
• Relevant, several years of professional experience in the field of plastic thermoforming, plastics processing or production in general. Professional training Thermoforming is possible, career changers get their chance! It's the enthusiasm that counts.
• Professional and technical knowledge in the manufacturing automotive supplier environment desirable
• Good methodological competence in personnel management, employee motivation and improvement processes
• Strong focus on results in terms of quality, costs and adherence to deadlines. They are used to organizing, directing and monitoring
• Knowledge of common quality and improvement methods, e.g. FMEA, APQP, CIP, 5S and systematic failure analysis
• Strong awareness of quality, cost and responsibility as well as a structured and solution-oriented way of working
• Strong communication skills, assertiveness and ability to work in a team
