Our client is an advanced materials company developing vinyl-based polymers from laboratory research through to industrial production. You will lead the development and industrialisation of suspension and specialty PVC, including vinyl chloride–vinyl acetate copolymers, impact-modified, plasticiser-free and low-gloss resins.

You will set the R&D strategy, lead teams and resources, and guide products through lab, pilot and plant stages. You will resolve production instability and quality issues, optimise formulations and process conditions, and translate customer application needs into technical targets.

You bring 30+ years’ experience in suspension PVC R&D or production, with a record of scaling products to commercial manufacture. Deep knowledge of suspension polymerisation, formulation, testing and process control is essential, alongside hands-on problem solving and the ability to work across R&D, production, quality and engineering.
