How can production and intralogistics be fully automated?
Using a packaging manufacturer as an example, fpt robotics demonstrates how the intelligent networking of injection moulding machines, robotics, automated guided vehicles, automated packaging technology, warehouse technology and IT creates a fully automated value chain.
By decoupling production and shipping through a two-stage funnel system, the foundation for flexible 24/7 production was created. At the same time, manual handling was reduced, space was optimised and real-time transparency regarding stock levels and orders was achieved.
This presentation provides insights into the planning, implementation and integration of a challenging transformation project and demonstrates how companies can sustainably increase their reliability, efficiency, flexibility and resilience through intelligent production logistics.
