Flexible DIC.PPS for Extrusion
DIC Corporation has developed an elastomer-modified, flexible PPS compound for extrusion.
The material is characterized by a high viscosity necessary for the extrusion process as well as outstanding flexibility and toughness. The PPS inherent properties such as chemical and temperature resistance are retained.
The material has been developed for automotive coolant applications, among others.
Coolant lines, for example, must pass a bending test without leaks even after 1000 hours aging at 150°C (see lead photo).
