Product novelty 24. June 2024
the next generation M-Ax mold motion controller platform.
Mold-Masters®, a leading developer and supplier of hot runners,
controllers, auxiliary injection, and co-injection systems, is excited to announce the release of its next
generation M-Ax mold motion controller platform
The M-Ax features a simplified and more intuitive user interface for an enhanced user experience.
It is also OPC-UA enabled making it Industry 4.0 ready.
New special features include preprogrammed mode functions, depending on
the movement, to make set-up, configuration, and operation easier.
Another additional feature is dynamic torque monitoring, which operators
can use for a variety of mold protection capabilities. For example, the
controller can monitor torque over a portion or the entire motion. If a
component’s torque is found to be out of tolerance, it could be an indication
that it requires maintenance or replacing. If a motion exceeds the torque
tolerance, the controller stops all motion and displays an error.
The M-Ax controller, available in standard configurations of up to 3 axis (4.5A-44A each), incorporates a
15” full color touch screen and is available with a wireless tablet display interface. Unlimited custom
configurations are also available depending on the specific needs of the customer for the application.
These configurations can include integrated controls for temperature, rotary table, actuation control,
auxiliary injection units, and more.
