Repelletizer: Air-cooled solution with good impact on the environment
The pelletizer, developed by our partner MSK, is the optimal solution to turn the regrind into virgin-like pellets and avoid uneven production. In order to provide the best performance for the all the different needs and requests, this item comes available in two configurations:
- the direct model (model D-type) offers fixed cooling and cutting devices, for the treatment of materials that require a short curing time;
- the extended model (model E-type) presents adjustable cooling and cutting devices, to better treat materials that require a long curing time.
The process is conducted at a temperature below material-melting threshold, so that the the mechanical properties remain preserved and it is possible to ensure high quality precision in the molded parts. With the double-headed configuration, two separate hoppers allow the production of two different types of resin at the same time. Moreover, the compact design of this solution can fit in less than a square meter.
