Mold ventilation with MAG and Mold Breather
During the molding process, trapped gases can cause defects in product quality and corrosion of the tool steel. To overcome this issue, Matsui presents two innovative solutions: the Mold Breather and the MAG.
The Mold Breather is a special ejector pin with 0,02 mm slots that increases mold ventilation by up to 80% and helps reducing moldung and cooling times. Quality defects are reduced by 50%, managing to save both energy and to avoid material waste.
This item can easily adapt to any material: depending on the resin fluidity, it´s possible to use a pin with width between 0,005 and 0,05 mm.
The MAG-01P/-02P is a mold vacuum device that prevents gas from adhering to the mold. Thanks to the equipped filter exhaust air speedometer, this device can constantly monitor the situation and avoid skipping the maintenance routine process. Moreovre, the short distance between the tubes allows for high suction efficiency when into action.
Thanks to its compact size, it´s possible to install the MAG close to the molding unit even in narrow spaces.
For the best effect, we recommend combining the Mold Breather and the MAG vacuum device together.
