CRX Comb Mobilux, compact drying and conveying system
The CRX Comb series of Mobilux Dryers is built around Moretto’s popular X Comb dryer. Each CRX Comb model includes a honeycomb wheel of 100% Zeolite desiccant, and is equipped with anti-stress technology preventing over-drying and automatic modulation of drying air for optimum drying performance with minimal energy consumption. Part of Moretto’s patented anti-stress technology is the manipulation of air flow to adapt to drying needs while maintaining a consistent drying quality. Only two parameters are needed, material type and throughput: all the rest is automatic! The dryer automatically manages all the other parameters to apply the proper treatment for each type of polymer.
Each CRX Comb requires only a single electrical power connection for operation. Coupled to the X Comb dryer is Moretto’s unique OTX (Original Thermal eXchanger) hopper which revolutionized the drying process and the concept of the hopper itself, realizing a real exchanger between energy and humidity, with extraordinary energy efficiency.
To prevent the regain of moisture by the plastic granules between the drying hopper and the processing machine, the CRX Comb includes closed loop conveying, minimizing the use of ambient air for material movement. Stainless steel Moretto vacuum receivers for material conveying can complete the system.
A full color 7” touchscreen control panel provides everything needed for both drying and conveying with icon-driven simplicity. An on-board library of 100 material recipes are included and others can be added according to customer’s needs.
The integrated 7-day timer and sophisticated over-drying protection ensure reliable and time-optimized operation. The control makes start-ups and operation extremely simple.
