·Interior resins at PRET are focused on appearance, which also meeting property requirements. Important aspects of these resins include low odor, low VOC, and pre-coloring in a variety of colors. Partial recycled formulations of 30% & 50% recycled content have now shown success with meeting these critical characteristics and are being implemented in vehicles today.
·Exterior resins are formulated towards toughness and weatherability, while also meeting appearance standards for color and paint adhesion. PRET has a material for all of these requirements, whether it be highly impact modified deflector, UV stabilized cowl grille, or a bumper material that requires the highest level of pain adhesion.
·Under-the-hood resins are critical to engine performance and withstanding high temperatures. While virgin resins are often utilized here, PRET’s sustainable PA66 and PA6 resins have been widely used across multiple OEMs. These applications include cylinder head covers, air intake manifolds, engine covers, fan shrouds, grille opening reinforcements, oil caps, and air cleaner housings. These resins can also be color matched for uniformity on the dark end of the color spectrum.

In addition to the automotive industry, PRET resins are utilized in other industries such as lawn/garden, ATV, irrigation, electrical components, and sealing systems, etc.
