Thanks to a measurement range of up to 25 meters, large tools, injection molds, fixtures, or plant components can be measured directly on-site. The system can be operated by a single person.
The system combines a contact probe with a high-performance laser scanner. This allows both traditional dimensional inspections and the capture of complex free-form surfaces, tool contours, and CAD comparisons to be performed with a single system. Deviations are quickly visualized and can be detected even during production.
The system’s mobility eliminates the need for frequent transport between the production floor and the metrology room. Measurements are taken directly at the point of use, which speeds up inspection processes and reduces downtime. In addition, the intuitive operation makes it easy to get started, even for users without extensive CMM experience.
