Our company operates three forging presses with a maximum capacity of 12,000 tonnes. It is equipped with one of the world’s largest electroslag remelting (ESR) installations, together with a comprehensive range of heat treatment, machining and testing facilities. Our advanced plant machinery underpins cutting-edge technology and reliable product quality.
We possess the 12,000-tonne forging press, the largest within the tool steel sector, alongside 225-tonne ESR and 35-tonne VAR equipment.
As one of Germany’s most advanced smelting and forging enterprises, drawing on extensive experience in producing special steels for high-temperature and high-pressure applications, we are able to manufacture premium hot-work tool steels. We hold particular competitive advantages in the production of extra-large dimension forgings.
All large-format mould steels produced at our works are manufactured using electroslag remelting (ESR) combined with our proprietary Micro 900BG process. The material exhibits identical physical and mechanical properties in every direction, ensuring consistent mechanical performance irrespective of the cutting orientation."
