PCR Glass Fiber From Waste Solar Panel
Open-loop PCR scheme using waste solar panel cover glass, which is predicted to undergo mass disposal in the near future.
By adjustments in the recycling ratio and customized surface treatments (sizing), we successfully developed a prototype recycled glass fiber chopped strand (including Flat Fiber) that achieves composite properties comparable to conventional E-glass.
This scheme might just be the only PCR glass fiber scheme that meets the actual recycling ratio and the balancing of the economic sense.
