Pressure plates often pose a challenge in the injection mold, as their thickness can usually only be determined during the try-out. Adjustments often have to be made using shims or regrinding – in the worst case, the plate even has to be completely remade. These steps cost valuable time, increase production costs and put a strain on the customer.

Our solution: An adjustable pressure plate that can be adjusted directly with the mold in the IMM without any additional disassembly work. A raster system allows the plate to be adjusted precisely, and an integrated scale shows the setting. This allows the setting to be restored repeatedly and reliably, even after maintenance or repairs.
