Seamless integration of light and design in a single component – protected by puroclear®
At our booth and at KURZ (Hall A4, Booth A4-4204), we are exhibiting the innovative FrontIQ Light Concept: a 3K demonstration part that combines decoration, functionality, and surface protection in a single production process.
The demonstrator is based on a headlight component in which a decorative design film is integrated between crystal-clear PC and black PC/ABS using in-mold labeling technology. The surface is then overmolded with a transparent layer of puroclear® directly in the mold. Our transparent puroclear® PU protective layer reliably protects the component from scratches and stone chips and, thanks to its self-healing properties, ensures significantly greater surface durability.(Picture source: KURZ)
