At this year's Fakuma, Yizumi will present innovations in the fields of rubber injection molding, thixomolding and 3D printing. In cooperation with various partners from material manufacturing as well as networking, Yizumi focuses this year on the processing of biopolymers in resource-saving manufacturing processes. With Yizumi Germany 3D printing technology, we produce a metal-plastic composite molded part on a 3D printer (additive manufacturing equipment) for the first time.

In 3D printing, the machine series is presented with not one but two equipment systems - a large-scale SpaceA-2000-500-2H and a small-scale SpaceA-900E-500-S. In addition to the systems, Yizumi Germany will also be presenting its engineering services in the field of additive manufacturing. The focus is on production-oriented design for large series as well as cost calculation of flexible automation cells based on additive manufacturing.

On a large-scale system of the SpaceA series, we will present how quickly and cost-effectively large components can be manufactured in series from a wide variety of standard plastics in granulate form, which you also use in injection molding, with and without fiber reinforcement. In particular, the possible precision of the Yizumi systems at a layer thickness of less than 0.2 mm will be demonstrated.

The fully automated production of metal-plastic hybrid components will be presented on the small-scale system. For this purpose, metal inserts are coated and then printed with a carbon fiber-reinforced polyamide 6. The demonstrator is a pen holder, which is produced in 10-minute cycles. A true give-away in 3D printing. With this technology, Yizumi Germany presents the possibilities for the future to finish metal parts cost-effectively and flexibly.
