Any color change and shutdown procedure in blow molding machines without accumulator, blow film machines, and extruders involves risks that the remaining polymer in the cylinder contaminates the extruder with oxidation and thermal degradation. The use of Ultra Purge™ 3615 purging compound with the advanced “self emptying” technology prevents the formation of contamination. Since the purging compound does not stick to metal, pulling the screw is also considerably easier.

Lusin® Protect G31F mould protectant comes as a dry film that provides significant benefit over typical oil-based rust inhibitors. The dry film does not creep between mould plates, slides and core adjustments. The film can easily be removed from the mould cavity by the simple process of part moulding, allowing for time and labour savings. Additionally, unlike typical oil-based rust-inhibitors the new product does not produce “oil marks” on transparent and optical parts.

Lusin® LU1201F is a lubricant specifically created for the thermoplastics packaging industry. This multi-purpose lubricant is recommended for the use on core slides and ejector pins in plastic processing machines. Designed for maintenance and repair purposes, Lusin® LU1201F is particularly effective for sliding surfaces as well as for applications with stick slip or under high static and dynamic load.
