Transparency and responsibility: our 2025 Sustainability Report
At Franplast SpA, sustainability is embedded in our business strategy. Under the leadership of CEO Elena Franceschetti in the Franciacorta region, we present our first 2025 Sustainability Report aligned with the EU CSRD directive.
Environmental Efficiency
Solar Energy: Photovoltaic expansion boosted self-generated solar consumption by over 60% and reduced grid purchases by 13%, saving nearly 600,000 kg of CO2 annually.
Water Conservation: Advanced heat recovery and cooling systems cut groundwater extraction by 32%.
Circular Solutions & Certifications
We innovate through the Chemiton Life TPE-S range (bio-based or recycled raw materials) and Greenplay, a patented, fully recyclable artificial turf infill. Products are validated under ISO 14067:2018 (Product Carbon Footprint). Our management system is certified to ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 50001, and ISO 14064-1.
Social Responsibility
Workforce: 60% female presence in office roles, renewed Gender Equality Certification (UNI/PdR 125:2022), and 33 out of 34 employees on permanent contracts.
Safety & Community: Zero workplace accidents in 2025, supported by prevention programs, on-site defibrillator, and WHP health scheme. We support local initiatives like AIRNO (cancer research) and ASD LV7 Experience (disability inclusion).
Rating: Rated "good" (41/52) under the UNI/PdR 134:2022 framework.
Looking Ahead
Building on the UN 2030 Agenda, our next objective is establishing sustainable procurement guidelines in line with ISO 20400.
