They would have exhibited at Fakuma for the first time this year. What opportunities does Fakuma offer you for your products and your company?
We have developed a new system for metering liquid colors in plastic injection molding. For this purpose, we have integrated our pump technology, which has proven itself in other industries, into one system and adapted it to the special requirements of liquid color dosing. We now want to present this system after successful practical testing and meet the users at Fakuma.
What are your first experiences with Fakuma Virtual?
We have posted our dosing system with information and pictures. There have been no reactions yet, but we are excited and look forward to receiving inquiries.
What opportunities do you see in the virtual format?
Of course, we would prefer a face-to-face event. However, under the circumstances, we are pleased with the possibility of virtual exhibition. The industry focus is the great advantage of Fakuma Virtual and the high internationality. We are optimistic about making personal contacts virtually as well.
You have the highlight colorDoS in focus in your showroom. Tell us something about it!
colorDos is a dosing system for liquid colors. It is integrated directly into the injection molding machine. We use drip-free quick-connect couplings for this purpose. A clean and fast color change is thus possible without any problems. We have integrated a load cell into the container holder to monitor the fill level. The display control synchronizes precise, repeatable metering in interaction with the injection molding machine. There are functions such as cleaning mode, color code management, remaining run display and alarm manager. The dosing system is therefore ideally suited for anyone who is thinking about switching to liquid ink.

This year, we are focusing on colorDoS and in-depth consulting, including dosing tests and commissioning.
Do you have any webcasts planned that visitors to Fakuma Virtual can look forward to?
Here we have nothing planned. We focus entirely on individual consulting.
What are you particularly looking forward to at Fakuma 2021?
On the one hand, we are looking forward to interesting discussions and many questions to us and to the system. On the other hand, we will look for the highlights of the industry ourselves.
